I bought the H9Z to use it with Suunto Race 2 and it connects perfectly. I am able to use Suunto's ZoneSense feature. From using it a few times already, including at a full trail marathon, I can say it's very comfortable and I've experienced no chafing.
Battery life seems to be quite ok, and I like that it has a charger.
I am still a bit confused around the auto on/off feature (still looking for a button to press), but is seems to be working just fine.
Finally something that is acurate, works flawlessly and built strong, love it!
Paired easy to Bluetooth and shows on stream nicely. Im very happy
When I first received HRM had some issues with it after full charge with it detecting HR attached to chest. It would not beep or display Zone status light.
What has worked consistently is laying on flat surface fully extended apply electrode gel on pads then touch each pads with each index finger at same time for 5-10 secs until beep and light shows then quickly attached to chest.
I have noticed about a 2-3% loss of battery level every 2 hrs of use. I can check level in the Rouvy app sensor settings or use the CoospoRide app - Click on Me - Add Device - Select Heart Devices - H9Z . When done I Unbind device. Also Zones can be change with in app HRM lights with color of zone detected.
The band is comfortable and HRM tracks accurately.
It doesn't work and the return process is not easy to navigate.
